Rude' Frontier Airlines employee shouts at customers to 'hurry up' at boarding gate

 

Not everyone is a big fan of flying or travelling by plane, but for different reasons some people develop the courage to do so. The last thing anyone; comfortable with flying or not would want, is to be rushed, treated harshly or put in a stressful situation right before boarding a plane. The situation I am here to blog about today is how passengers of a Frontier flight traveling from Denver to Norfolk Virginia on June 4, 2023 were treated harshly by a frontier boarding/desk agent. In the article it was expressed that the attire, attitude and behavior of the employee was beyond unprofessional, she was rushing passengers, making rude comments and displayed a high level of stress and frustration. I strongly believe that this was very unprofessional and unethical of the employee and she should be held accountable for such actions. I also believe the airline should also be held accountable for putting employees in stressful environment making them feel responsible for things out of their control. This situation also emphasizes on Frontier Airlines' questionable ethical practices, raising concerns about the airline's commitment to passenger well-being, employee treatment, and overall business ethics. The airline also need to make sure employees are vetted and trained properly to conduct themselves professionally in all situations to prevent unnecessary stress and conflict. There are pictures and a video of the incident and it was clear the employee had more to deal with than she could handle. I choose this blog to elaborate on because I strongly believe that travelling by plane within itself can be stressful for a lot of people, so most people would rather do so in a more comfortable manner. To make this so, I believe all employees should display professionalism and conduct themselves in an ethical manner putting travelers mind at ease, in this particular situation this was not the case at all and this is something that needs to be addressed.
